Throughout the year you will find a multitude of events and entertainment within Luton town centre, creating a fun, friendly and vibrant atmosphere for all the family. The diverse range of events include St Patrick’s Day celebrations and the annual St George’s Day festivities. Luton International Carnival, now run by the UK Centre for Carnival Arts, is the largest one-day carnival in Europe, weaving its way through the streets of Luton town centre and attracting up to 100,000 visitors from across the UK. Another town centre highlight event is the week-long Luton Summer Festival, which takes place in the first or second week of August, with St George’s Square hosting everything from Greek dancing and world music to performance, poetry and children’s events.
