Celebrate the Platinum Jubilee with a free family story trail in Luton town centre!
As part of local plans to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, from April 30th until June 12th, Luton BID has teamed up with High Street Safari to run a free story-trail in Luton town centre.
Head to seven points in Luton town centre and choose what happens in the story with a completely free contactless trail, with anyone with a smartphone being able to participate.
Discover cute characters along the route and see them burst into life in augmented reality, don’t forget to take selfies and record videos with them!
Located at seven stops around the town centre, discover hidden parts of the town whilst Sir Barnaby Beacon guides you on your trip with seven memorable and magical friends, like Charlie Crown or Theadora Throne, who have come to life from Buckingham Palace and gone on a trip to see Luton town centre.

- The Entertainer
- The Works
- Luton Central Library
- The Galaxy
- Gravity Active Entertainment
- The Hat Factory
Enjoy a fun day in the town with a completely free trail for families and groups to take part in, and win a free, digital fun at the end.
The trail works without the need for families to download or sign up to anything.
