7th November 2016: There was added excitement at the town centre’s Christmas lights switch-on this year with Chase & Marshall from PAW Patrol making personal appearances in the lead-up to the big event.
Crowds of local families gathered to meet the heroic pups and have their photos taken with the canine duo which brought an extra special element to town centre Christmas festivities.
The PAW Patrol appearances were organised by Luton Business Improvement District (BID) as part of Lighting Up Luton, run by Luton Borough Council.
Luton BID Director, Bashir Dalvi said: “We were delighted to work with Luton Borough Council to support this event and thrilled with the buzz and excitement that Chase & Marshall from PAW Patrol created on the day.
“We are focused on generating a sense of pride in our town and enticing more people into the town centre, especially over the busy festive period. Lighting Up Luton certainly achieved this at the weekend – it was a fantastic display and the feedback from families was that everyone had lots of fun.”
