A two festival of music from around the world will take to the stage in Luton town centre at the weekend [12th&13th Dec].
Christmas World Stage has been organised by Luton Business Improvement District (BID) and is set to bring a diverse mix of festive fun to the town centre, with the sound of music set to ring out from Market Hill from 12noon to 7.30pm on both the Saturday and Sunday.
The packed schedule includes performances from Tina’s School of Dance, an acoustic guitarist, Indian singer and dancers representing cultures from around the world.
Gavin O’Brien from creative agency Clearhead is chair of the Luton BID Board, which drives forward activities under the area’s new Business Improvement District status. Gavin said: “What an exciting line-up of music, dance and performance and we are delighted to be organising this event which we hope will bring festive cheer and an added vibrancy to our town centre this Christmas. We look forward to welcoming new as well as loyal shoppers to our range of stores and businesses and wish everyone a very happy Christmas.”
Luton events manager Frankie Prazer is working with the Luton BID to bring this two day event to life. Artists from Luton and the surrounding area will include Ryan Prazer, Kasia Wardman, Pravin Somani, Ian Roberts, Madam Kapuscinska, Tina’s School of Dance and Phoenix Starr Academy of Dance. The Upmass Gospel Choir will close the event with a stunning performance from 7pm on the Sunday.
