The Mall is set to welcome the arrival of a FREE Flamingo Trail on Saturday 25th May ahead of the May Half Term.
Families can keep the little ones entertained in the school holidays with a themed trail, nodding to the history of the famous Arndale flamingos, which will run up to and including Sunday 2nd June.
Families can pick up their adventure trail guide from the Ask Me Point in Central Square to kick off the activity, and hunt for ten flamingos hidden around the centre for clues to questions written on the guides. Once all ten answers have been located, young adventurers can return their trail guide to the Ask Me Point for their very own flamingo prize, available whilst stocks last.
The launch of the Flamingo Trail coincides with the arrival of Radio 1’s Big Weekend to Stockwood Park in Luton, for what is set to be an electric weekend of live music.
The Mall will also be celebrating with their own festival, this time tailored to a younger audience, with ‘KidsFest’ taking place from Thursday 23rd – Sunday 26th May for families to enjoy. The double event extravaganza provides the perfect excuse for visitors to The Mall to take a break from their shopping trip and enjoy the activities on offer. Further information regarding KidsFest can be found on The Mall’s website.
Lavinia Douglass, Marketing Manager at The Mall Luton commented: “We are looking forward to a colourful Half Term this May, with the arrival of the Flamingo Trail at The Mall. This is a great activity for families to enjoy, and challenges little ones to seek out their inner adventurer in the hunt for answers to complete the trail guide. Don’t forget to stop by the Ask Me Point to claim a prize too!”
Lavinia continues: “This is set to be the start of a very exciting summer of events, and we encourage families to explore all there is to offer, including our wonderful KidsFest across the Big Weekend, kicking off on Thursday 23rd May. Come and celebrate with us and enjoy everything from mini’s discos to festival glitter and balloon making!”
