This Summer, Luton BID is bringing Market Hill to life with a fantastic programme of free family events designed to entertain, inspire and bring our community together.

From dinosaurs and storytelling to music, games and creative crafts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the heart of Luton town centre.

The summer kicks off with a Dino-mite Partnership between Luton BID and Step Forward Luton bringing you a truly prehistoric experience as a giant, T-Rex stomps onto the Parklet. Get your cameras ready because this incredible dinosaur will be meeting visitors, posing for photos and delivering plenty of ROAAAAARRR-some moments throughout the day.

We’re delighted to be working in partnership Luton-based children’s entertainer Aaron Spendelow of A Children’s Story to bring his brand-new live puppetry musical performance to Market Hill. This exciting new show promises laughter, music, storytelling and magical moments for families of all ages, making it one of the highlights of our summer programme.

The fun continues with Party in the Parklet, where our Luton BID Ambassadors Karol and Heidi will be leading an afternoon packed with music, games, dancing and face painting. It’s the perfect opportunity for families to relax, play and enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere right in the centre of town.

For budding artists and eco-warriors, Mini Makers on Market Hill will offer an interactive recycling-themed craft session where children can unleash their creativity while learning how everyday materials can be transformed into something new and exciting. Led by our Ambassadors, this hands-on event is designed to be fun, engaging and educational.
