21st September 2017: Luton town centre businesses have the chance to celebrate and promote their success by entering into Bedfordshire Business Awards 2017.
Luton Business Improvement District (BID) is sponsoring the ‘Luton Town Centre Business of the Year’ category at the prestigious awards for the second year – one of 13 categories which will be celebrated at an exclusive ceremony on Thursday 23rd November.
The BID is now calling all BID Levy paying businesses* to submit their nominations so that Luton businesses are recognised – those shortlisted will be entitled to two free places at the ceremony.
The Mall’s resident Vibe Juice Bar was crowned Luton Town Centre Business of the Year in 2016. Mitul Kotak, director of Vibe Juice Bar said: “We were shocked and delighted to win last year and our reputation was definitely boosted as a result. People saw and read about Vibe Juice Bar in the paper and on social media and that gave us a real buzz and also improved business. We would recommend that other BID businesses enter – there is nothing to lose and everything to gain.”
Gavin O’Brien, Chair of the Luton Business Improvement District (BID) and co-director of town centre based business Clearhead said: “Our sponsorship of the Luton Town Centre Business of the Year Award ties in with the BID’s ongoing commitment to work with businesses and partner organisations to champion and increase awareness of businesses in Luton town centre. Our sponsorship gives Luton BID businesses recognition and increases awareness of the fantastic business offer we have. There is not long to enter though. This is a great opportunity and we urge all BID businesses to put themselves forward to be recognised for their excellence, innovation and development.”
The application deadline is the Monday 1 October. Contact info@lutonbid.org or call 01582 510657 for more information.
