This vegan, plant-based business in Luton’s Cheapside has been tirelessly fundraising, delivering meals and making a difference in recent months.
Owner Gregory Owen has been raising funds for the Black Lives Matter campaign, while also focusing on adapting his business to meet the new challenges of COVID-19.
Gregory explained: “Since coronavirus struck we have focused on delivering around Luton and Dunstable, and we are proud to have provided 50 meals to doctors and nurses at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
“I have always tried to be kind and empathetic to others. I learned from the best, my mum. The support from others has made me feel great – there is a real sense of pride in being part of this community.”
Monstera Canteen is continuing to give back, offering free meals to children in need during half term. Gregory and his team are truly Business Heroes.
