RAY GELATO

He’s back! Ray Gelato, The Godfather of Swing and multi-talented singer, saxophonist, songwriter, and bandleader, returns as part of what promises to be a big weekend at The Bear Club.

Ray and his band have enjoyed an illustrious and successful career, including a long-established residency at Ronnie Scott’s, where they perform a sell-out event every Christmas.

He has performed twice for the late Queen Elizabeth, opened for Robbie Williams at the Royal Albert Hall, and played at Sir Paul McCartney’s wedding. In addition, the band has played at most of the top jazz festivals, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Umbria Jazz Festival. Ray has also performed at some of the most prestigious clubs in the world, including Birdland Jazz Club and Blue Note Milano.
