Town centre businesses are invited to attend the launch of the Luton Business Improvement District (BID) proposal and business plan for 2025-2030.
This exclusive event, which will also feature the Mystery Shopping Awards presentation, promises an engaging evening of networking, celebration, and a look ahead to an exciting future for Luton town centre.
The event on Wednesday, 18 September, will begin with arrival, drinks, and networking from 5:30pm to 5:45pm, followed by a welcome address. Attendees will learn about the achievements of Luton BID, the new strategic plan for 2025-2030, and important key dates for the future. The Mystery Shopping Awards presentation will take place from 6:30pm to 7:15pm.
During May and June, mystery shoppers visited 45 businesses across Luton town centre, evaluating them on customer service, local knowledge, business awareness, and friendliness.
Businesses will be recognised in several award categories, including Platinum for perfect scores, Gold for scores above 90%, Silver for scores above 70%, and Bronze for all other participants. The results of this year’s Mystery Shopping assessments will be revealed during the awards presentation, celebrating the hard work and dedication of local businesses.
