22nd November 2017: Luton town centre business Aviva Health and Beauty has scooped a top award at this year’s Bedfordshire Midweek Business Awards – a high profile ceremony designed to celebrate business success and innovation across the county.
Luton Business Improvement District (BID) sponsored the Luton Town Centre Business of the Year category for a second year as part of its ongoing commitment to championing Luton town centre.
Aviva Health and Beauty, a beauty salon and training academy set up in 2008 in Luton town centre’s Park Street, scooped the Luton town centre award after impressing judges with its commitment to growth, training and customer service.
Owner and director Janan Saher said: “I always had a vision of owning a large beauty salon that offered all treatments under one roof and it is a privilege to be located in my home town, in Luton town centre. I am overwhelmed and to get this recognition is wonderful.”
Vibe Juice Bar, based in The Mall, and Response Personnel in Wellington Street, were runners up on the night.
The BID supports and promotes business growth and works hard to develop a sense of community so that residents, businesses and visitors are able to take pride in and enjoy Luton town centre.
