Luton town centre’s Carnival Guide!
Carnival is back in Luton town centre for it’s 46th year this Saturday and we’re so excited to get the party started. The town will be dancing in vibrant colours, exciting music and full of joyful people enjoying a weekend of celebrations. Luton town centre is full of so many amazingly diverse businesses and what better way to celebrate Carnival than to check out a few of them.
Here’s our guide to Luton town centre on Carnival…
Start the day with a scrumptious breakfast!
A full day of fun requires a full breakfast to set the pace of the day, why not head to Mano coffee for a cup of morning goodness and a delicious croissant to fill the gap.
And then for those a little but hungrier, why not settle down in a local pub to enjoy a full English to get you going. Head to Go Coffee in The Mall for a delicious fry up ahead of all that dancing you’ll do later!
Look the part for Carnival!
Why not treat yourself and spend the morning getting your nails done at 10 Minute Manicure, American Nails or The Nail Salon in the town.
Show up looking all glamourous with your Carnival-inspired nails, but once you’ve done your nails you have to get a new frock!
Check out River Island’s brand-new range of party dresses to set the mood, head to New Look or H&M for a nice new Summer Dress and don’t forget to check out Primark for a bargain!
Can’t think we’ve forgotten about the fellas, Industry hairdressing or 4 You Unisex Hair Stylist will have you looking sharp. Make sure you’ve got some new threads too, check out TipTop or Storage for the best designer gear.
Head to Scotts next door for the latest trends, and check out Lids for the best American apparel, pop down to Superdry for a brand-new hoodie for the late summer evenings.
Of course, with new threads you’ll have to get a new pair of trainers to match, Footlocker, Schuh and TK Maxx have some of the best trainers in the town centre.
Lunchtime grub…
After all that shopping, you’ll need to grab some food, you can’t go to Carnival without getting stuck into Caribbean vibes, Moziahs will transport you into the hot Caribbean sun, with food that will warm the heart.
Get stuck into a delicious meal from Nando’s (as spicy as you like it!) perfect on a hot summer’s day or check out Roasty Arabic Grill for a wide range of Middle Eastern food or Sizzle N Grill for a signature burger.
All that fun will make you thirsty, make sure you stop off at Vibe for a cold smoothie before heading to the Carnival to enjoy all the fun.

And finally, who can enjoy Carnival without stopping off for a cold delight to take in the summer fun. Yoogoo! Have the best natural frozen yogurt, for those looking to indulge, why not take a break and head to Benjamin’s Café, or Cookies & Cream, Treatz or Creams?
